How to save files
- Move the mouse cursor over the image, hold down your mouse button (right button if you're using Windows) and select "Save this image as" ("Download this image as" in Internet Explorer) from the pull down menu.
- Select where on your local hard drive you would like to save the image file to. Click on the "Save" button.
(These directions may vary slightly depending on the browser software and operating system you are using.)
The saved photo file is now stored on your hard drive and can be opened in a variety of imaging applications such as CorelDraw, JPEGView, Photoshop, Pagemaker, QuarkExpress and others.
Any published version of this photo must credit the photographer and UW-Madison University Communications.
The caption and credit text for each image is also easily accessible from the "File Info" window of Photoshop.
